SHOELESS SUNDAY

Your Extra Pair,
Could Be Their First

Sunday, April 13, 2014

The 30 Days of Poverty Campaign is partnering with Soles4Souls which is a global not-for-profit institution dedicated to fighting the devastating impact and perpetuation of poverty.  The organization advances its anti-poverty mission by collecting new and used shoes then distributing those shoes both via direct donations to people in need and by provisioning qualified micro-enterprise programs designed to create jobs in poor and disadvantaged communities.

As we collect gently worn shoes for Soles4Souls, they will bring NEW shoes back into our Evansville community through these 3 local organizations:

Your church, club or organization can be a part of this wonderful event. Get involved by hosting a drive of collecting gently used shoes leading up to April 13th.

Churches can join Pastor Scott Williams of NXT Level Solutions who will be simulcast on Sunday, April 13th from Bethel Community Church to multiple churches speaking on what poverty looks like and how churches can get involved along with collecting shoes for Soles4Souls.

For more information about how to host a shoe drive at your church, school, or business, contact Krista Decker at kdecker[at]restoringpeople.com or 812-492-0716.
